Discover the beautiful art of Kinusaiga, a traditional Japanese inspired technique that creates stunning, quilt-like designs without sewing!
Join us on Wednesday, October 28th at 6pm for this beginner-friendly workshop. You'll use colorful fabric pieces to create a textured work of art by carefully tucking fabric into a pre-designed surface. Choose your fabrics, mix patterns and colors, and watch your design come to life piece by piece.
No sewing or artistic experience is necessary! We will guide you through the entire process. This relaxing and unique craft is perfect for anyone who loves fabric, quilting, or trying something completely new.
Workshop Includes:
One Kinusaiga design (8x8" approximately in size)
Wide selection of colorful fabrics
All tools and supplies needed during class
Step-by-step instruction from our instructors

We will have assorted fabrics to choose from that may not match the picture of your choice, but if you have SPECIFIC fabrics you would like to use, please bring them with you!

** You must EMAIL us at hammerandstaintempe@gmail.com if you can not attend a workshop. If you do not show up for a workshop and do not notify us, you forfeit your payment & project. If you have to change or move your seat to a future workshop there is a $20 seat change fee.

All workshops are custom made and non-refundable once booked. If you cancel with at least 48 hours’ notice, your reservation fee will be issued as store credit for future workshops and must be used within 60 days. Same day cancellations and no-shows are not eligible for credit.
Rescheduling will incur a $20 studio fee unless notice is given at least 6 hours in advance via email. If you do not attend your scheduled workshop, your payment is forfeited.
If you need to cancel, we can hold your project for up to 60 days for completion during Open Studio hours.
